Innovexar has expanded its Perovion® organic peroxide portfolio with Perovion BPO P-L75, strengthening the range of curing and polymerization solutions available to customers across thermoset composites and polymer manufacturing. The new grade is now available to customers worldwide as part of the broader Perovion® organic peroxide platform, adding another option alongside Innovexar’s existing curing and initiator chemistries.
The addition marks another step in the development of a broader Perovion® platform designed around different resin systems, processing conditions and manufacturing requirements. By extending the portfolio beyond MEKP-based curing systems, customers can select peroxide technologies more closely aligned with their specific production processes.

Perovion BPO P-L75: A Water-Wetted Dibenzoyl Peroxide Grade
Perovion BPO P-L75 is a water-wetted dibenzoyl peroxide grade developed for applications requiring reliable free-radical initiation and consistent processing performance. Organic peroxides such as benzoyl peroxide are among the most widely used free-radical initiators in the polymer industry, valued for their predictable decomposition behavior across a range of processing temperatures and their long track record in industrial formulations.
As a water-wetted grade, the product is formulated to reduce dust generation and improve handling safety compared with dry benzoyl peroxide powders, while still delivering the reactivity profile that formulators expect from a dibenzoyl peroxide initiator. This combination of handling convenience and consistent performance is a key reason manufacturers evaluate water-wetted grades alongside existing peroxide curing systems when qualifying a new supplier.
Supporting Thermoset Composite Curing
For thermoset composite manufacturers, the product supports the curing of unsaturated polyester, vinyl ester and acrylic thermoset resin systems. When used with appropriate accelerator systems, it provides manufacturers with additional flexibility in adjusting curing behavior and processing windows.
Typical applications include cast polymer products, composite panels, chemical anchors, mine bolts and resin transfer molding (RTM), where predictable reaction behavior and production consistency are important to maintaining efficient manufacturing. These applications often depend on consistent cure kinetics and batch-to-batch repeatability, particularly where production schedules are tightly managed or parts must meet defined mechanical and dimensional tolerances. A water-wetted dibenzoyl peroxide format such as this one is generally easier to handle and disperse than dry peroxide powders, which can simplify dosing and storage in a manufacturing environment.

Extending Into Polymer Production
It also extends the Perovion® platform into polymer production. BPO-based initiator systems are widely used in the polymerization and copolymerization of styrene, acrylates, methacrylates and other vinyl monomers, enabling the product to support a broader range of industrial production technologies.
For polymer producers, initiator selection directly affects molecular weight distribution, reaction rate and overall process economics. Having a water-wetted dibenzoyl peroxide option available alongside other Perovion® initiator chemistries gives formulators another lever for fine-tuning these outcomes without switching peroxide suppliers or qualifying an entirely new handling process.
Building a More Complete Peroxide Portfolio
The introduction of Perovion BPO P-L75 reflects Innovexar’s approach to building a more complete organic peroxide portfolio: combining different peroxide chemistries within one platform so customers can select solutions according to resin chemistry, process temperature and production requirements.
Looking ahead, supported by manufacturing and regional supply capabilities in China, Innovexar will continue expanding the Perovion® portfolio while strengthening application support for customers across composites, polymer production and other industrial markets. The company also plans to continue publishing technical guidance to help customers evaluate which peroxide chemistry best fits their specific resin systems and production conditions.
