Cumyl Hydroperoxide Initiator Solutions for Resin Curing & Polymerization

With CHP-based products as the core direction, we support customers in selecting suitable initiator options according to resin type, curing temperature, accelerator system, gel time, part thickness, and processing method.
Product Overview

Perovion® CHP

Perovion® CHP is a cumyl hydroperoxide initiator series focused on two product grades: Perovion® CHP L80 and Perovion® CHP L90. These grades are designed for selected resin curing, polymerization, and controlled exotherm applications.
Cumyl Hydroperoxide (CHP)
Cumyl Hydroperoxide, also known as CHP, is an organic peroxide initiator used in selected resin curing and polymerization applications. In resin processing, CHP is commonly considered when manufacturers require controlled reactivity, process stability, and careful management of exotherm.

Applications

Match the Right CHP Grade to Your Resin Process

Select between Perovion® CHP L80 and L90 based on resin type, curing temperature, gel time, and process requirements.
Main Application

Unsaturated Polyester Resin Curing

For selected UPR resin systems requiring controlled curing behavior, stable processing performance, and better exotherm management. Perovion® CHP L80 and L90 can be reviewed based on resin type, accelerator system, curing temperature, and target gel time.

Resin System

Vinyl Ester Resin Systems

For selected vinyl ester resin applications where curing performance, promoter compatibility, and process stability need to be carefully balanced. CHP grade selection should be reviewed together with curing temperature, gel time, and final part requirements.

Reaction Process

Polymerization Applications

For selected polymerization processes requiring a cumyl hydroperoxide initiator direction. Perovion® CHP L80 and L90 may be considered when reaction stability, process control, and suitable initiation performance are required.

Process Control

Controlled Exotherm Applications

For resin systems where heat build-up, part thickness, or curing uniformity is important. CHP initiators are commonly reviewed when manufacturers need a controlled cure profile and better management of exotherm during processing.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Tell us what you are making, how you plan to use the product, and what commercial information you need. We will help you move to the right next step.
Can I request SDS, TDS, and COA before purchasing?
Yes. SDS, TDS, COA, and related product documents can be provided upon request based on the selected CHP grade and inquiry details.
The main grades are Perovion® CHP L80 and Perovion® CHP L90. Perovion® CHP L80 corresponds to the K-80 product direction, while Perovion® CHP L90 corresponds to the K-90 product direction.
Perovion® CHP L80 is positioned as a standard CHP grade for general resin curing and polymerization applications. Perovion® CHP L90 is positioned as a higher-active CHP grade for applications requiring stronger curing response, controlled curing behavior, or more specific process control.
For general CHP-based resin curing and polymerization applications, Perovion® CHP L80 may be considered first. Final selection should be reviewed according to resin type, accelerator system, processing temperature, target gel time, and application method.
Cumyl Hydroperoxide CHP should be stored and handled according to the latest SDS, product label, and applicable regulations. Keep it away from heat, sparks, direct sunlight, contamination, and incompatible materials. Always review the SDS before storage, transportation, and use.
